Bollywood star Suniel Shetty updated fans about sustaining a ‘minor injury’ on the set of an upcoming web series Hunter season 2 on Thursday (November 7). He dismissed the reports that he was seriously hurt by X. The 63-year-old actor shared with his fans that he was getting ready to resume the shoot of the project.

As per the media, Suniel suffered an injury while shooting for Hunter season 2 in Mumbai, according to the media. Sharing the note on X, he wrote, “Minor injury, nothing serious! I’m absolutely fine and ready for the next shot. Grateful for all the love & care. #OnSet.”

Earlier many media reports suggested that Suniel was seriously injured in his ribs while filming an intense fight sequence for Hunter. In order to evaluate the actor’s condition, doctors and an X-ray machine were reportedly hurried to the scene.

All about Hunter season 2

Suneil is set to reprise his role as A.C.P Vikram Chauhan in Hunter Season 2. The series follows A.C.P Vikram’s journey through Mumbai’s underworld as he strives to prove his innocence in the murder of an elderly woman. The action thriller series is produced by Saregama and Yoodlee Films.

The first season, released on Amazon Mini TV in March last year, also starred Esha Deol, Rahul Dev, Barkha Bisht, Mihir Ahuja, Teena Singh, Chahat Tejwani, Karanvir Sharma, Siddharth Kher, Gargi Sawant and Pawan Chopra in key roles.

Suniel is known for his action films such as Mohra, Krishna, Border, Hera Pheri, Dhadkan, and Main Hoon Na. On the work front, he will be next seen in Welcome to the Jungle and season 2 of his Amazon miniTV action series Hunter. He is also expected to play a pivotal role in the Lionsgate thriller Nanda Devi.
